Shoes...

 I rarely mention shoes in my inspiration posts but they are very much part of an outfit.  Just like other accessories.   I tend to fail when it comes to a lot of accessories.  Earrings are about it.  However, this shoe has caught my eye:

This is The High Point by Rothy's.  Price tag: $169.00.  Details:  premium knit upper, 1 1/4-inch heel wrapped in the knit, cushioned insole, spacious toebox, added elastic to expand/contract as wearing, machine washable.

I have been wearing this companies shoes for at least four seasons.  The first pair which has been worn year around still looks good.  These shoes feel a little dressy.  I can see wearing them with my new skirt and a red top (matchy, matchy is in, right?).

Sneakers...

 Sneakers...are they something you wear daily? or occasionally? I try really hard not to wear them daily but it seems my wardrobe of sneakers has expanded over the last year or so.  Last year, I discovered Rothy's.  Last year, I really wanted the navy sneaker but that color was never returned to stock.  I ended up ordering the Loafer in navy.  I like that shoe.  It is not a "I'm going to a 2-mile walk shoe" but it is comfortable.  This year, I finally saw a color of the sneaker that I liked - Anchor:

This shoe was worth the wait.  I have worn them with everything - pants, skirts, dresses. So comfortable that I would like every color and could go for a "2-mile walk".  However, my budget does not allow for that.  I wanted to share that Rothy's has increase the discount for new customers for the month of the September from $20 to $30.  That is a nice discount. This Is Pink?...

 So I ran across this shoe while looking around:

This color is called blush which I always thought was a pale pink.  I thought it would be fun to get a pair of pink shoes.   Much to my surprise this "Blush" leather doesn't look pink or any shade of pink.  They look beige to me.  Here's a peek:

Yes, I am keeping them.  The shoe is actually comfortable.  I will have to figure out how to wear them because I don't think that I'll be wearing blue jeans that often once it gets hot.   Suggestions would be welcome.  I do have a bit of time to stitch up stuff.  I wonder how they would look with khaki ankle pants.

Finding the perfect shoes...

Have you ever felt like the perfect shoe didn't exist?  That is how I'm feeling right now.  I returned this shoe:

Not because I didn't like the style but because I didn't care for the color variations. They were a little too different for my taste.  However, I did replace them with this shoe:

Yes, same style different color.  I think these will be a nice little shoe to wear with dresses or skirts. Just a simple little black slip on.   While I was in the process of returning/purchasing, I added another shoe to the cart:

This little shoe is by a company called "Wanted". I hope it turns out to be a nice little shoe.  I hope I like wearing flats this year.  Although, I do need to look for some sandals, too.  What is the use of a pedicure if you don't show it off?
