Inspiration...Wrap Dress

 This wrap dress is a classic.  If you need a great dress, this one just might be the one:

This is the Abigail Silk Jersey Maxi Wrap Dress from Diane Von Frustenburg.  Price tag: $898.00.  Details:  silk jersey, pointed collar, v-neckline, embellished with sequins and beads, three-quarter sleeves, self-tie wrap closure, floor-length silhouette, dry clean only.

I told you it was a classic wrap dress.  You know I have found the perfect pattern:

This is Vogue V2000.  A classic wrap dress by Diane Von Frustenburg.  This pattern is almost the exact silhouette.  Only change would be the sleeve length.   You get to decide whether you the maxi length or not.  

Now, for that silk jersey fabric.  I did find some silk jersey by the yard at Mood.  I know it's says that the silk is dry clean only but Peggy Sagers says it is washable.  The only way to know for sure is to try it yourself.  If you did not want the expense of the silk jersey, perhaps you could use a nice challis.  Yes, both fabrics are listed on the pattern. You can add all the embellishments that you want.
