I am a little behind this year with my sewing. I have been in a sewing funk through the first of April. Then went on to have a couple of muslin failures. I am circling back around to those patterns and see if I can get them to work. More on that in the future.
Dresses are a great way to stay cool on the hot, muggy days of summer that I know are coming. Here are a couple on my list:
This is the Recoleta Dress pdf pattern by Itch To Stitch (affiliate link). This is a new release and it is discounted through May 5, 2021. The short sleeved version would be a wonderful addition to the summer wardrobe. It hits all the marks for hot weather. It might be interesting to play with a sleeveless version. This is the Celeste Dress pdf pattern by Itch To Stitch (affiliate link). I just recently discovered this pattern and really love the style. You pockets, a v-neck, and it is not fitted. The silhouette is perfect for a hot muggy day. Be sure to look at the blog post for the pattern to see the pattern testers versions.
This designer offers additional discounts when purchasing more than $30 of patterns. Since I am so close to that dollar amount, I am going to look around a bit and see if I can pick another pattern.
