Here is a look back on the Project List I did for 2024 -
1. Sew only what I need - I think I did fairly well with this with 2 skirts & 2 shirts.
2. Sew one or more non-garments items a month. This did not really happen. The first four months of the year were spent working on slipcovers. Totally burned me out. Sewjo took a long vacation.
3. This one did not happen because of burnout and now the sewing room is totally buried.
4. I purchased 47 yards this year. This that great? No. I could have done better but it is less than some years.
5. I did purchase a few patterns. I hate it when I forget that I have purchased a pattern and then wonder why. I sold a few patterns as well but I think I may have purchased more than I sold.
6. I did work on fitting one pattern and I did use up some fabric on a couple muslins that I made. I ended up deciding that the pattern was not for me.
It was not my best sewing year. Honestly, my sewing time is limited to no more than about 2 hours a day generally. Maybe 2025 will look better.
Happy Stitching!
